Hey all, Aerik, Eliza, and Lily (me!) put together a little explanation of the rank system. You can see which rank you are and specifically which permissions you have by going to the FC window and stuff, but this is here to answer your burning questions like "WHY HAVEN'T I BEEN PROMOTED YET?!!?!1" and "WHAT THE HECK DOES OCCURIA MEAN THATS NOT EVEN A WORD GUYS!!!"

Well, here ya go (hopefully it's readable):

Leaders of the FC: Aerik, Eliza, Lily, Mag

Dalmascan: Probationary member. Not that we'll kick you out if you stand in AoE's (or at all), but this is the entrance position for all members. After 14 days pass since joining AND actively participating with the free company (chatting doesn't count - you actually have to do stuff with the FC), you get promoted to…

Archadian: This is the standard member status.

Occuria: This is for standard members, but elevated. You also have chest access. Occurians are not officers, but have stood out in some way.

Judge: Judges are Officers. Judges can invite people to the FC, execute/spend company actions, hall access settings, full access to the first chest and crystals, and fun perks like that. Specifically for Judges are specialized ranks, which all share the same privilege levels of Judge (i.e. Rank 4-8 is the same rank level right now).

Judge of Judges: Currently, Mag is the only one who holds this position (it was formerly Marquis), and is the only obtainable leadership role. He can promote/demote and accept applicaitons and also have full access of the chest except withdrawing gil.


These roles may change as time goes on and we get bigger.
Promotions are handled by the Leaders, and are at their discretion. If you have a question or concern, please bring it up with one of us!

PFAQ: (Probably Frequently Asked Questions)

- Can I bug a leader about being upgraded because I feel like I'm cooler than everyone else?
Please don't. It'll make us REALLY not want to promote you in the future. If you feel that you are really good at one thing and want to be an officer of something or have an idea, though, please feel free to bring it up with either an officer or (preferably) a Leader.

- Why are there different Judge names? Why can't you just have one Rank called Judge? It's getting a little Xzibit up in here..
Yeah, kinda. But we're trying to set a system up so we can hold events and have a clear officer in charge of them. i.e. Berlo is a Judge of Coil, so he may set up an "official" FC run for Coil. That's not to say other members can't put together a group for coil, but there won't be a set team running it every Friday night, for example. (I'm not saying Coil is friday night, it's just an example!!! aahh!!)

- How does a standard member get promoted to Occuria?
It's really up to the Leaders, and based a lot on how much we trust you. If you're fresh out of Dalmascan and are super active when you're online, we notice. If we don't notice, someone will most likely bring it to us. We may try you out for Occuria and see if you'd be good for a Judge role, too. *creepyface* We're watching you…..
